COMMISSIONS | CUSTOM COVERS
▪ What services you offer? I offer design services for Book Covers, Paperback Formatting, Typography Design, Ebook Formatting and Promotional Arts.
▪ Do you accept Commissions for Custom Covers from indie authors? Yes!
▪ How much costs the Custom Cover? The price varies according to the format of the cover and the complexity of the project. The minimum price is US$150 for Ebook format only, and US$170 Ebook + Paperback format. To get a final price, contact me for a full quote!
▪ Do you work with special prices for book series? Yes! Contact me for more information.
▪ You work with illustrations? I’m a designer, but not an illustrator. All the covers I’ve worked with illustrations before was made by separately illustrations from stock images that was put on a layout, or provided by the author. If you’re looking for a full illustrated cover, I’m afraid I’m not the best professional for you — yet!
→ But if I have an illustration from another artist, can you work in the cover with my image? Yes! I just need the license certificate for the image, or direct authorization from the artist that made this illustration. In this case, the work will be adapting the art for the cover trim size and layout, and create a typography for it. The price is a bit cheaper than a full custom cover!
▪ How will I receive my cover? You’ll receive the Custom Cover for digital formats (Ebook and Audiobook) in JPG and print formats (Paperback and Hardcover) in PDF in your email. Note that they’re all in digital delivery files, no physical product will be delivered to your address.
▪ Do you use AI (Artificial Intelligence) in your Covers? Absolutely not. I do not use any AI-powered materials in my services. All my covers and designs are AI-Free, and I make sure that all assets I work with are not from AI.
▪ What payment method you accept? Paypal or Wise only.
▪ How do the cover images license work? Images used are stock photos from DepositPhotos. They are limited to 500,000 print copies and 500,000 ebook sales copies. If you would like unlimited usage/an extended license, let me know. There will be an additional charge.
▪ Do you work with formatting? Yes! I offer services for professional Ebook and Paperback Formatting, and I have special prices for full packages including Book Cover Design + Formatting. Contact me for more information!
PREMADE COVERS
▪ What is a Premade Cover? A Premade Cover is a premade design for a book cover, which only text alterations can be made — in this case, author name, title and blurbs. This is an option for authors who are looking for fast and cheaper book cover services.
▪ Are Premade Book Covers unique? Yes. From the moment they are purchased they won’t be sold again to any other author. The cover will be exclusively for your use!
▪ Can I ask to change the fonts in the Premade Book Cover? Yes, but I don’t guarantee that it’ll be changed. The fonts used on the premade covers are hand-picked to match the layout and the vibe of the cover. If you want to change the font for any reason, talk to me first and I can see what I can do.
▪ Can I ask to change the images or colors in the Premade Book Cover? Usually, we don’t do this kind of alterations on Premade Covers because some kind of changes may require a lot of reworks on the art; probably we’ll need to charge a fee for this. But there are a few changes that we can may make — like recolor a character’s hair or changing background color. Contact me first so we can talk about what is possible!
▪ What is the format of the Premade Cover? The Premade Covers are only listed as Ebook Covers. But you can purchase the Paperback, Hardcover and Audiobook Add-on whenever you need it.
▪ I don’t have a page count yet. Can I purchase the Premade Cover now for the ebook only and the Paperback Add-on a few months later? Yes! There’s no problem.
▪ Do you make reservations for Premade Covers? No. The covers are only listed at my shop and it’s not possible to make reservations. But you can subscribe in my newsletter to receive news and discounts for premades!
▪ How will I receive the Premade Cover? You’ll receive the Premade Cover for digital formats (Ebook / Audiobook) in JPG and print formats (Paperback / Hardcover) in PDF in your email. Note that they’re all in digital delivery files, no physical product will be delivered to your address.
