FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

PREMADE BOOK COVERS

▪ Are premade covers unique? Yes. From the moment they are purchased they won’t be sold again to any other author. This cover is all yours, exclusively.

▪ Can I ask to change the fonts in the premade book cover? Yes, but I don’t guarantee that it’ll be changed. The fonts used on the premade covers are hand-picked to match the layout and the feel of the cover. If you want to change the font for any reason, talk to me first and I can see what I can do.

▪ What is the format of the premade covers? Ebook covers, and usually in trim size 16x23cm. But, for print formats the size can be adapted! 

▪ What if I want a premade book cover in print format? I can do it too! I charge an additional price for adaptation to print and other formats.

▪ How do the cover images licence work? Images used are stock photos from DepositPhotos. They are limited to 500,000 print copies and 500,000 ebook sales copies. If you would like unlimited usage/an extended license, let me know. There will be an additional charge. I use this same stock for Custom Covers.

COMMISSIONS | CUSTOM COVERS

▪ You accept commissions? Yes, I do! 🙂 

▪ How much costs the custom cover? The price varies according to the format of the cover and the complexity of the project. But the minimum price is US$150 for ebook format, and US$170 ebook + paperback format. To get a final price, contact me for a quote via this link.

▪ Do you work with special prices for book series? Yes! Contact me for more information.

▪ You do illustrations? I’m a designer, not an illustrator. On all the covers I worked with illustrations before, it was because I bought the elements separately and put them in the layout. I can’t create a whole illustration by myself, sorry! 

→ But if I have an illustration already, can you work in the cover with my image? Yes! 🙂 I just need the license certificate for the image, or direct authorization from the artist. And, of course, the price is a little bit different from the custom cover, being a bit cheaper.

▪ What payment method you accept? Only by PayPal, directly by email invoice.

▪ Do you work with paperback formatting too? Yes! And I have special prices if you want to do the whole project with me. 🙂 Consult prices and conditions by email!
